It looks as if my female retics is only breathing through one lung. she isnt acting the same as normal. what could this be? I have never heard of this.

only one spherical is opening??? when did this start??? water params??? amonia?? nitrite???

i recently had this prob when i let my drip system filters go for too long.

to much chlorine in ur water. use de-chlor.

they will go back to normal in a day or two.

Yeah when we had ammonia or chlorine problems we had this problem.

i remember now you telling me this....

try adding a shot or 2 of prime darcy

Don't rule out bacterial infection.. one of my new retics was ALWAYS breathing heavy out of both spiracles.. treated for bacterial infection, and it fixed it.

idn i havnt done a w/c in about a week, but i dont think anythings wrong with my water. Ill do a w/c today. Ive never used an dechlore so this could be it. Ill stop by my lfs i work at and grab some prime tomorow. hopefully it gets better

miles what did you do exactly for the bacterial infection
thanks

Triple Sulfa.. a long-lost raykeeper came into my work and told me this was his secret remedy for alot of the "mystery" issues in ray death.. Claimed to cure death curl before with it. Gave it a shot on my 5 new retics, no casualties, just improvements..

Prazi will take of gill lice and parasitic infections on the spiracles..
