i put in a poly filter right now
no improvement seen yet!
i am getting my plumbing in my home done (not copper pipes) and the pipe that they used for water changes was so nasty inside with rust there was like a pee hole for water flow makes u kinda wonder what gets in the tanks?

you'll see a great improvement in water carity and quality in no time..did you have galvanized pipes for your house water?? what did you replace them with? poly tubing??

this has nothing to do with your rays cloudy eyes, hopefully it gets better soon!

the plumbing inside the house is copper there was a tee that went to the side of the house that was galvanized they just eliminated that tee so i will be useing a different spiket(spelling?)from the front right of the main (anyway lets see what happens i have used poly filters before to remove copper from my salt tank amazing how it turned blue and eventually i was able to keep corals etc... in that tank

i just talked to the plumber and we may be replaceing the main to copper
can new copper pipes hurt my rays?
theres got to be some copper particles comeing through at first i am not sure how long though till there flushed out?
anyone know i worry alot LOL

there cloudy eye is looking better this morning:headbang2
good to hear. im gonna have to get some poly filter. my rays have been shreding their shrimp lately, so my water got rely cloudy and wont go away....

no i use straight out of the tap
have been doing it this way for 5years

and give the poly a try i also have been doing water changes more and added carbon so its hard to say which one has helped probably all of them combined

just add a sediment filter and carbon blocks before the tank.... better safe than sorry....

glad there doing better brent....
