So i am looking into approx. a 300 Gallon Stock tank, i want to run a sump filter but have absolutely no clue how to do this. I am here to learn so can anyone please help me describe what i have to do to make this filter work??? size of sump all of that. if you have a website that may have information that would be nice also. Thank you!!!!!!

I've never done a sump myself, but i know theres quite a few threads in the DIY section on here that tell all about how others have done it. Ya might check that out and see if it helps ya any.

As stated above, lots of threads on DIY sump builds. I have a 300 gallon stock tank. I filter it with a Little Giant 500 gallon pond filter - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Little-Gian...691?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item519c596ab3
It's an internal filter and I power it with a Mag 7 pump. Cheap and works very well. Easy to clean filter. You can also go with an external pond filter. Lots of good ones out there - Laguna, Biosteps, etc.

check this video out, this is what will be building when i can get the supplies and what not, will work with any tank type. i want to buil on for my piranha tank and when i build my bigger tank i will use the same design, but bigger tanks... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laTDG4Bc19U&feature=relmfu
