And to Michael, I was just noticing where abouts the plec's dorsal spine is. You dont want another Steve Irwin incident? Lol. If he just happened to 'trip' underwater.

Looks like your
A: Moving driftwood around
B: Adding driftwood
C: Sam and frieds are redecorating for you
At any rate I kinda like the new look to the right hand side of the tank. I think the cichlids will too.Just looked at the left it's looking diffrent and good as well. Bravo!

I just got up now at 7 in the monday morning to see the tank, when I see driftwood! I see hawaiian shirts, with moorish idol's, ocellaris clown's on it! I even see, Johns, parents? Its 1:07 in the arvo in So Cal. Nice additions. But looks cramped. I love it!

Seriously!!, I joined this forum to look for some advise because we got one giant gourami and couldn't find any real info on the net about people who keep them. After reading the whole 5000 g project thread and the moving Sam thread and then 5 to 10g thread started, read all that too, it felt like I was watching 'the truman show' with all you guys watching the webcam live while it was happening.

Your dedication to you fish is simple amazing, We saw a giga at Blue planet in the uk and I always thought 'Hmmm one day' but to have one(or three) and guts to think that one day the 5000g tank is looking a bit small ' I need to double it' especially when you think about the cost involved.

Too many people think, 'I want that fish and I have no idea how to keep it' from the start you knew what you were letting yourselves in for and accepted that you may need to go nuts on your tanks if necessary, not sure if there is a 'hats off smiley' but it would go here..........

Welcome to MFK! Was the Giga you saw at Blue Planet aquarium in Cheshire, or is there another one? No mention of it on their website.....
