Tank help

Formal oven

Feeder Fish
Right
So at the moment we have a
350l
With a fully grown tyre track eel, a starlight plec some kuhli loach and sterbai Cory
125l
With 2 musk turtles and shrimp
100l
Shrimp, raspboras, cory and kuhli loach
55l
Baby acara

The acara needs to go in a bigger tank but not with the eel yet as eel will eat it
And the turtles are getting to a point where they are needing the big boy filter in the bigger tank

Do we think I could keep the turtles and eel together? And put the acara and Cory in the 125? I don’t think the eel would be happy in the 125 as he likes to swim about how would you guys re arrange around these tanks

Firstly, suprised you have still got live Khuli loaches with a fully grown (>2ft) tyre track eel and that they have not been accidentally eaten.
I’m also guessing you don’t mean fully grown as in 3ft in length in a 350l tank, otherwise you need to start thinking about a bigger tank anyway as you have reached a limit.
Secondly, surprised you have live shrimp with musk turtles and that they have not been picked off, again, even accidentally.

Musk turtles will be fine in with the tyre track eel in my opinion. Mine lives well with a whole host of different fish, although I do provide him a lamp and basking area at one end of the six foot tank they all share. Just be aware of the drop in water quality you will get by adding them and hence the increase you may need on filtration and water changes.

That would free up either your 100l or your 125l for the acara to grow large enough to live with them with the other fish in the other tank.

+1

If not plus one, then probably minus many.
He’s on the big side of 30cm ( so tbf getting to full grown but not quite there) he’s fine with the kuhli loach they all sleep together but he tried it with the Cory which is why we got the sterbai one cause they have spikes in there dorsal fins which protected them we tried to get kholi loach out originally but we couldn’t catch them and everything online said there fine together and they have been

The shrimp were meant to be live food but we’ve just ended up breeding a group of ultra fast ultra sneaky shrimp

Plan is eventually to get a 350 once turtles are bigger anyway (only about 5cm) but it would be nice to be able to have the 3 big things in one tank and have a 400 a 125 and 100 rather that 400, 350, 125 and a 100l
Means we get to keep the sofa then😂

They’ve got a basking area and a heat lamp which we will move over to one end with them
We’ve got an fx4 filter on 350 at moment and doing 30l water change every 2 weeks ish I’m thinking I’m going to up this to 50l water change every week more if still looking like it needs it
