Tank is slightly uneven should i be concerned?

What is that? Quarter inch? I'd shim it if it's more then even 1/8 max but that's just me... plus all my tanks are used/old so I dont take chances on that.. lot of pressure with water
Hello; A tank being level is desired. To me there is a rating for being level. I do not worry about small tanks up to say 20 gallons. With bigger tanks I have had them do OK when out of level a small amount either along the front to back or side to side. I do not like a tank out of level corner to corner.
When I set up a tank I try to level the stand without the tank on it first. Then check it after with some water. I keep checking from time to time as I add more water.

I have a 120 thats like this one and I haven't had any issues since ive had it. I got it like two years ago used. Its uneven due to my garage having a slight slope.
Although I can't say I'd recommend it... I've had many tanks with an uneven water levels. Mostly owing to living in old houses (current home was built in 1880's where nothing is straight or level). I've never experienced any problems. My 6 Foot had a +0.5 inch difference even after shimming... and no issues 2 years later!!

I'd venture to say that the majority of aquariums aren't perfectly level. Too many variables, sloped floor or floor irregularities, plastic rim imperfections & stand imperfections, ect.
As long as all four corners of the tank rest firmly on the stand likely no worries.
Must avoid situations where the tank base is torqued or twisted.

Hello; Yes to this. out of level on the long side or on the short side not a big worry for me if not too much. Out of level corner to corner is the worry. That would torque a rectangular box. Good point.
Most of my tanks end up being 1/8 or 1/4 inch off side to side or front to back. If they are big tanks I am more careful about it. You will probably be OK imo but if it's more than 50 gallons of water on a wooden floor, probably worth it to be extra safe and shim it. Shouldn't be that hard to do, even by yourself, drain tank and use lever to lift stand.
