Hey everyone I'm finally back. Long story short computer took a dump and well finally fixed it.

Ok I was trying to figure out a type of fish to put with my pleco's that won't pick on them and that enjoy a current. I had some silver dollars and they didn't like it so much they just stayed where the current was weakest. I got my 135 with just pleco's now but want something swimming around in there. Also it has to be something that won't out grow the tank. I got a Papa Panaque with some nice streamers which I don't want bitten/nibbled off. Also nothing small like cardinals and neon's. I'll go that route if I have to but real don't want to.

Roselines look nice. 4.5" is a nice sized small fish. Would of never thought of them.

Giant Danios are cool fish I have had them before but they are mostly top swimmers and have this thing about jumping out of my tanks. I swear they will jump out of the tiniest of holes up top. I once lost 3 in two days from them jumping out.

From my understanding most livebearers like to nip long flowing fins and that's exactly what my Papa Panaque has. I don't want anything that's gonna damage it's tail. Also don't wanna be over run my babies since I got no other fish that I could feed them to. My stock consist of almost all pleco's. I got 2 Beuno's Aires Tetra's in another tank and my mom has a crayfish. So no where to really go with extra's.

Congo's are also nice along with rainbows. Never knew rainbows were mainly top swimmers. I would be worried about trying cichlid's though since they can be unpredictable in there temperament. Also my tank is bare bottom so I think a geo would be unhappy in that type of setup. Lovely fish tho.

I have a orange royal (L027) and a triple beacon and 4 bn albinos together and would like to put some dither fish in also. I am thinking of central though because I have really hard water and have not made the jump to RODI yet. I hate to go to the LFS to get water. I have a hard enough time cleaning up after them!

Well if the fish you obtain are from your local fish store then your water should be fine. The water in there tanks will most likely be just tap like yours. You could ask them and find out to play it safe. This will allow you to choose from a bigger variety of fish from multiple regions. Unless your just wanting an americas only tank.

Do share pic's of your tank when you get some time. Love seeing other peoples fish. Welcome to MFK by the way jtizzle.
