IDK I will measure when I get home. Since there in this tank the never get measured. That sounds' about right maybe a little less. But the eat about 150 feeders a week all four of them. One of the Orinos is seperated so I don't loose him/her.
You and me both. And You KNOW I have been studing cichla extra hard and I have yet to see the colors and the sheen they show just amazes me. The have this really GOLDISH BRONZE color that I had not seen in any of the others I have. But because I am sort of on the learning curve with the Orinos I may just be seeing all of these attributes for the first time. I know what ever they are I got HOOKED THE F Up bro there sweet for sure. I just hate raising small cichla and i know that for a fact now. I dont know if i have it in me to do this all over again when I finally find some Kel or Azul's. It take's a lot out of you and then there is the whole they need there own tank thing I am burnt out on small Cichlids right now so I know I wont be buying anything else unless it's Kel or Azu. My Jag Female has been holding for over a month and I can't do anything about it because the Cichla are in the breeding tank! Oh well.
lol ahahah .. i think if your going to get any azuls they are going to be at least medium sized, and nothing small.. kelberi on the other had i don't know. i have had orinos that started out bronze/gold/ yellow but they are much lighter now
If I get mediums I will be super happy. But if I get little guy's again I will just have to deal with it but man I dont want to be doing this crap again next year. Three years of rearing cichla man that sucks!
