nice. thats an emerald chiclid or is it something else scato? and you all have the same fish in u'r tanks what is it? peacock bass or something else?

The green colored fish is a true Parrot Cichlid, Hoplarchus psitticus.

The leaves are from a Pin Oak. They simply decay and break down into little pieces that are easily filtered or siphoned out.

Scat everytime you show that pic everyone gets excited and wants to add leaves to their tank. I love it! Didn't adding the leaves cause/help your parrots to spawn last spring, beyond the superb care you give?

- 40 Watt Aqua UV Sterilizer
- Aqua Ultima II 1000 Filter for Bioload
- FX5 for back up filtration for Bioload
- Automatic water top off system that dumps 100 gallons of water daily.
- 2 x Hagen T5 for lighting & 2 x Flourex Lamps for back up.

beutiful awsome tank man really nice i definitly want to get one simaler to yours and very sweet looking fish i am looking forward to getting some pinima tem pbass only three pbass and a black aro and a silver aro plus two redtail payara and a juruense but really nice tank
