Tank Size discussion for Asian Arowana share now

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Both sizes are too small because Asian Arowanas grow up to 60-65cm, not just 50-55. They reach 50-55 quite "fast" and then only very slowly more but they will eventually easily reach 60 and more.

Both sizes are just too small. 2.5 ft depth is the bare minimum if you ask me. Same with stingrays. They get HUGE in diameter and have a tail behind them aswell, they get very long. Leopoldi females EASILY grow up to 18¨ quite fast and then they have the tail and are about ~75cm long. Easily. your tank is too small for rays and for an Asian Arowana imo. I know many Asians have their Arowanas in similar tanks and for them its okay, but it isnt for me.

They are surface swimmers, back then my grandpa used to catch them in the padi fields for food, not a delicious one lol
