Tankmates with JARDINI (READ!!!)

also depends on how big the gar are. my friend had a gar twice the size of the aro he introduced to the tank and the gar tore the aro to bits.

read through the whole thread. yes, it's possible, but not especially likely
 
my only jardini has been a success so far. he has been living with an rtc/tsn hybrid catfish for 6 months. they are both about the same size. I have also seen one jardini and 2 silver aros living peacefully
 
I have a phat 20"+ jardini with few tank mate. He get a little aggressive once in a while when he is hungry.. I keep him with few gars, RTCxTSN, wolffish, 3 bichirs (one bichir is only about 8").. my only suggestion is to alway keep Jardini well fed.. work for me..

^ yeah chances are if its not hungry hopefully it wont attack others. btw how long it take for your fish to reach that size?

When I first got it, it was about 2.5" to 3".. just a baby. I have it now for almost 7 year..
 
I had a 15" jar about 8 years ago and thought I would try an Alligator Gar - Not so good. Clown Knives, Electric Blue Jack Dempsey's... I never had problems with any of the other dither...
 
I have a 2-3 inch. Jar and Would like to add a large pleco... Think there would be any problems? And do you think the Pleco would uproot any plants or move my stuff? Thanks
