Tankmates with JARDINI (READ!!!)

The pleco should be fine with the jardini as long as it is a similar size.

My jar lives with silver aro and some chiclids and a bichir and a reedfish, they are do good. My jar hates the cichlid though and beats up on the silver.

my 20" jar lives with all smaller fish. a jaguar, 2 giant gourami and a geo. brazilliensis.
he shows no agression towards the others and readily eats any food. my last jar was pretty agressive towards my oscar but nothing else. they do get talked up alot.

You have had a 7" jar with a black and silver for only a couple months. This is a far cry from success. As previously stated by many, jars snap around the 10 to 12" mark. Come back in a few months and post once your little experiment has had ample time to fail as most do

i totally agreed upon dis...my fren did experienced dis! his jardini bite off his silver's tail recently! end up he has to chg e silver to another tank!! bad jardini

I am not trying to buck the system but i have kept my 15"-16" Jar with his Catfish buddies for roughly 8 monthes with no problems.I also have a 9" Bala Shark,my Jar does take a run at the Bala every once in awhile but cant catch him.
