Nope! I got emails stating that several of my post were removed and I think I remain pretty objective sharing searchable facts rather than personal bias, anecdotes or opinions

Funny, I felt the same way and I forgot if we saw eye to eye or had opposite opinions or just a few overlaps

We had some differences and some overlaps mate. Which is ok in my opinion. The important thing is to share opinions in a non hateful way which I think pretty much everyone who has contributed to this thread has done well

I don’t like being censored and I will likely log out and turn off notifications for the foreseeable future. I’ve got my group chat with my local fish keepers.

How interesting that I have had some of my “non-fish related” posts in this thread removed by mods, and yet all the “non-fish related” posts of the opposing view remain. Fairness would lock and delete all the posts the site deems not fish related, or move it to the lounge where non fish related content is permitted. Failing to do so just exposes whichever mod did that as a HypocriteView attachment 1560230

Another forum I am on has a specific sticky thread in the off topic section for Political disccusion. Everything goes in there lol. Might be something for the mods of this site to consider as a blow off valve as some people cant go 45 minutes without thinking about politics and history (me included lol).

I like sharing ideas. Same, similar or opposite. I’m not threatened by anyone who thinks differently than me. It doesn’t affect how I feel about myself or them. We are the product of the sum of our life’s experiences. Censorship widens ideological divides. It probably wouldn’t exist if we could talk to one another respectfully irrespective of our differing views. I agree their should be accountability for personal hateful comments, but the free sharing of ideas is crucial.
