I'm currently building a 470 gallon plywood tank based off the dimensions of a piece of tempered glass i got for free. The glass is 98 x 37 x 1/2. The tank will be104 x 41 x 30. I would like some advice also. The glass bowing will not be an issue. Strength is my only concern. I've seen tempered glass break before, i just dont want to see it in my basement with almost 500 gallons behind it.

How did this turn out? How do you feel now eight years later about the choice of tempered glass?
After 14 more years have passed what are your thoughts on tempered glass? How are your tempered glass tanks doing?
After 10+ years have passed, how is that tempered glass doing? Still holding strong? Any advice?
