Yes you can do that as well. I would throw a female parrot in there and see how he does with her if he's too aggressive just seperate them and let them get used to each other and see if she lays eggs for him. A lot of ppl use egg crate dividers bc they can cut out a hole where female can go back n forth but male can't

okay i ill try that if i could a big enough female, ive heard of the divider thing too but same problems i hear with the hole, what if u sed a larhe jack dempsey female?

I've never heard of fh breeding with jack Dempsey

Texas cichlids
Vieja
Parrots
Amphilopus species
I was saying Parrot just to start bc he might not be fertile so just try him first you know

oh okay that makes sense, from what ive been reading alot of people have trouble with fertile male flowerhorns, im starting to think im better off getting female flowerhorns to hybridize because of the higher chance of having viable fry

I bought this Thai silk flowerhorn from dealer for 1000rs Indian currency.. Now he is in 3"inch.. I'm feeding xo humpy head food twice a day.....I have no idea about Thai silk flowerhorn ..Can anyone suggest me is this original breed of Thai silk ?? Is Kok will grow ??? Will get good result from him??
