Lookin good Erica! If your looking for a catfish you don't want to mess with your eel, have you thought about pictus? Fairly cheap, readily available and REALLY active. They won't outgrow a 125g either. Not all catfish can say that ;)

Thank you!! ;)

I second the pictus, I have them and they are pretty active guys.

Pictus was actually my first thought, just wasn't sure.. but I definitely trust you guys.. so that's probably what I'll go with... :D<That's my happy face!!

Thanks a bunch you guys, ya'll are awesome!!

Synodontis petricola or multipuncatus would be a great choice too

Thank you Kanta, I'll be researching on these...

Grats erica. I just got my 125g a couple weeks back. I was astounded when I got it. I still love staring at it. I just wish mine came with a wooden stand instead of a stupid metal stand. And its a dark oak trim which also sucks. But yours looks very nice.

I'm getting a little sloppy here, I keep missing posts.. If I miss you I'm sorry, I really do appreicate ALL the input..

Thanks buddy, I love it!! it just looks so massive.. and yours looks great!! I stare at mine a lot too, but I'm sure I'll be staring at it a lot more once it's filled.. can't wait!!!

Nice tank, I know what you mean about thinking of the worst. And you will get used to it soon enough, my 120 already is looking small to me and its only been up a few months.

Sorry I misspelled one. multipunctatus. hate latin names

Thanks!;)

Unfortunetly I will probably feel the same.. in just a few months.. but the next one is gonna take a lot more saving.. and planning...

This is my favourite sized tank. I had a 4 by 18 but always wished it was longer.

I just love how super stoked you are about it! Its definantly infectious.

Stoked hell yeah!! I went to my lfs today and was telling all the employees.. luckly they know me .. !!! :D

The length definitely makes it feel so much more massive.. I would have liked 2" more on the depth.. but I'm good.. doesn't make a difference on my 'Stoked Scale'!!!

IF you are like me, a first timer in using Jager units - calibrating the unit takes a day or two.
You may or may not need to calibrate, but keep in mind that its a possibility.

Fo sho!! I never completely trust a new heater... Thanks for the heads up buddy!!!! ;)
