Erica your tank needs more Blood Parrotty goodness, just like mine.

Hes my 125 gallon (just did a huge water change so its cloudy and moved decor so they are squabbling over territory). Its a little cramped until I get rid of my Midas pair.

@Chris I think I really do need more BP's goodness, a friend and I hit up like 6-7 fish stores yesterday and there are a lot of good looking parots out there!!.. It was interesting because the offspring that had been spawned with a severum were very distinctive.. I think I worded that a little jacked but you get my point... thanks for sharing your pic & vid!

@Bryan, nothing against your 'Monsters', but I love, like I'm in love with cichlids... so up until I can get a larger tank (don't want one right now) it's not gonna happen.... but when I do, I'll let the gar and bichir have the 125g.. and move my babies into the 300g-500g, that I'll have one day!!!

No I wouldn't. Its impossible for South American Cichlids (aside from Festae) to interbreed with Central American Cichlids. I am sure I could explain what you are seeing if I could see some pics.
 
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures... I know boo hooo...!!! Any I'm totally for anything delicious although I don't know about your deliciousness..... meaning I don't know what your talking about...

And actually there will be more hybrids, but that's a surprise!!!!!
