The end of a era, and new beginnings

Back again,

So i tested the water and im a little puzzled by one of the results..ideas???

Ammonia- 0ppm
Nitrite- .25ppm
Nitrate- 5.0ppm
PH- 8.0

Is it possible that the ammonia has already come and gone??? not sure how long it takes each toxin to come and go, also is it possible that i screwed up the cycle some how??? i have been keeping the temp at 85 degrees, no water changes, haven't added any more conditioner, i havent really changed much at all....from what i have always known it take 4-6 weeks for the cycle to complete its self, am i wrong or whats going on here.... any ideas are welcome!

Tested the water again today,

Temp 81.8F

Any ideas how/why i have nothing in the water and its only been 10 day of running time????

AHHHH so im looking at my tracking info for the new light, and it was at a fedex location that wasnt even a mile away from my house, tried to have it held there and they would not do it. and the location they were taking it to doesnt make deliveries on mondays.....SOOOO STUPID! the anticipation is killing me here, i cant wait for the light....any ways had to vent cuz this is BS!

So went out today, found a really cool aquarium store in bolder and picked up a digital thermometer, and some new pieces of coral. hear is a picture of my favorite piece.

and here is a picture of the tank. so you can see where i put it.

Also today i changed out my heater for the one i started with. i figured id give the Hydor Theo another chance. I took it out because the heater was acting like it wouldnt shut off. but the other heater wouldnt keep it warm enough, both being 300w not sure whats going on. if this doesnt work im going to order a marineland stealth pro 300w. Check back tomorrow ill be adding pictures of the new light!!!!!

New light FTW!

Today i was actually pretty busy with the tank.... got my heater situation figured out, NEW! got a Marineland 250W Stealth heater...seems to be working much better. Also added 5 Zebra Danio. trying to see what happens when i add more fish for the cycle. AND NOW! what you all have been waiting for.

This is with one 10,000k and one blue out, I think I'm going to use a color max bulb with the 10,000k bulb and see what it looks like

tested the water again, every thing looks good so i added a bumble bee and a johanni from my 150g, also added a moss ball but im not sure i like the way it looks.

Ok so as i posted before i added 2 fish from my 150G. Tested the water and every thing looks ok...im keeping a eye on my toxins just in case, and have not lowered the the temp....its staying at about 84.7F. let me know what you think!

Hello again!

I just added some peacocks from my 150G into the 72G. Also im gonna see if anyone can tell me what kind of peacocks they are in the ID thread. Also tested water as well and every thing looks good....In the next week or so im going to look into buying some more fish and was thinking of ordering them from http://bluegrassaquatics.com/. any ways pictures soon of the new guys in there just need to let the phone charge being thats what ive been using for my camera!
