Once I get my 240g or a 300g I might add one more larger fish. But as far as swimming at the top the Gulpers swim all over the aquarium. They are very active not at all like what most people say. I figure its because there is a large group :)

When I put them all in the aquarium awhile ago they were 9", 8", two 6" and one about 5-5.5".......

Now they are 10", 9", two 8" and the little one is about 7.5" they are growing so fast :D

To be honest I have no worries about putting a larger fish in with them, I keep them well fed, my largest gulper could eat the smallest gulper easily but he never has even tried. They each get one jumbo raw shrimp every other day :headbang2So feeding them is around $8.00 per week and a half :)

i'd be careful here if i were you. gulpers seem to be like datnoids, in that they tolerate conspecifics. No guarantees with larger fish. In case you have doubts, there are a couple of threads in which small, well fed gulpers ate considerably larger fish.

Looking good, glad my little gulper went to a good home.
