It's difficult to comment as it's been that long since we've had a decent chat.

You are in between houses/just married these days? How is Mrs Biliou with the fish keeping?
Are we talking another tank for them?, since I started the oscar journey I've found the following:
a. every one here say 65 min
b.110 at least for two.

Fatty is in a 65 and is starting to look like he's outgrowing it?

Yes indeed, it's about time we catch up a bit. :) So...

  • I'm still living in the same house - not planning to move for a few years yet but planning quite a lot of renovation to change it from a geeky bachelor pad into a proper home for a couple.
  • The wedding is drawing near - it's going to be in December. :) And I'm going nuts with all the preparations! :screwy:
  • The soon-to-be Mrs Bilou is ok with fishkeeping - she's not as crazy about it as I am yet she sits and talks to Eva all the time!
  • I've read extensively about oscars before and, yes, it is said that a 110 is required for a pair... but, as Mauritius is mainly an asian country (though we re quite far from the continent of our ancestors), we do it the asian way: average overcrowded tank with lots and lots and lots of filtration and water changes. :) So, no extra tanks for me... by the way, have you seen THIS?
