Yeah. I am a major pleco person, but zebras are overpriced still to me, even though I do like there coloration.

I can see you like them from your avtar I love all my hypans but they are serious hiders eh! I think if I were to get zeb's it would be a colony just to see them interact and have a potential for a spawn. Can you sell kidneys on ebay yet



As for the punk, I only know they are mega rare.......

Hopefully a new more common version that looks exactly like a zebra. HAHA NOT! Yeah there will be a new hype, infact Miles just posted a picture of a plec that we have yet to figure out, due only to location.

i could only find 3 plecos that live in that river so far, but i know that must be bull. i'll keep looking but for now im a bit stumped

My guess is just a possible mislabeling, or migrations due to the fish itself, or someone dropped some in the river at some point.

They are all cool looking. I don't know why one would be more popular than the rest. Then again I don't know that much about pleco's besides that they poop ALOT. My rhino pleco is pretty cool, it comes out when I come into the room. Most plecos that I have seen hide when you come close to the tank.

Well some children under 5 years will eat things like that. J/K. Plants at least fix the problems pleco poop create, but you need a lot of plants for not many plecos.
