Pre-determined? Mike still having health issues - as in his ulcer issue that is not fully resolved? Who knows?
But this had nothing to do with Mike simply being 58 yrs old. No way, no how.

This is Mike 4 yrs ago, taking it to a pro boxer (not some wannabe turd from youtube) Start watching at the 2 min mark. Just a few minutes of highlights, watch how Mike works the peek-a-boo style that he made famous with Cus, watch the power behind those body shots, and his relentless inside pursuit of Jones. Constantly on the offensive. Every swing at Jones head was a potential knock out punch. 54 and still a stone cold killer in the ring.

Listen to the 2 fighters speak at the end of the fight. Jones could still barely breathe - Mike sounded like he just walked out from taking a sauna. Mike also landed FAR more punches than Jones, and it should have been a hands down win for him.

This was just 4 yrs ago - Mike was 54 yrs old.

Now listen to Jones regarding that fight. Start at 3:50 mark. Loved the laces to the face comment. Same old Mike @ 54.

Associates at work asked me if I was going to watch the fight. I told them yes and assumed it would be some bs and it was. It didn't affect me financially because I already have a Netflix account. Felt bad for all those people in that stadium anticipating a good match. Unfortunately it was a clown show lol. Hopefully this will be the last time Mike Tyson will put on boxing gloves.

Mike Tyson on X:

"This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you"

“This night is not about me. I want to thank the real heroes, the US military, the doctor's, the nurses, the nurses in the ER, the cops, the farmers... all the people that make this world go around.”

Jake Paul

I did a bit of digging yesterday on this fight regarding the authenticity of it. I'm not even going to link anything, it'd take me hours there is that much of it!! Just Google for yourselves.

I for one feel like a fool, I was so naive to even think that a fight like this could be anything else but "tampered" with. I got up at 3:45am to watch Iron Mike batter this pri*k, but instead it was basically a damage limitation exercise to protect Mike!!!

I didn't lose a penny financially because, like Tom said, most of us will already have a Netflix subscription anyway. I bet the people in the crowd paid a pretty penny for those tickets, and I also bet that punters lost a lot of money too. I wonder how naive, robbed and totally pis*ed off they feel.

However, I did lose something. Getting up early I lost around 3 hours kip!!! It won't happen again!

If you're looking for direct quotes from each camp, obviously you're not going to find any such admittance.

As on here, it is all pure speculation and conjecture, but there is that much of it it is hard to ignore what's happened.

Like I said there has been a lot written, wade through it all and decide for yourself.

I just entered "Jake Paul v mike Tyson fixed" and there's loads of stuff. Everyone seems to be singing from the same hymn sheet. Can they all be wrong?

Yeah I got all of that,I was merely asking what you saw there in all of that that you drew any conclusions from.

Well, professional boxing, professional sport in general, sponsorships, any sort of sport that is not really amateur ... it is about money. Not real sport at all.

The fact that whether it was staged or not seems to have gained a lot of interest is one reason.

Another is that my own eyes were telling me something that all was not what it seemed. Either way it doesn't matter to me.

Mike got a nice payday out of it and I can't deny him that. That guy give us so much entertainment back in his heyday it would be wrong to deny him of a nice final paycheck, and let's face it, he's no where near as wealthy as he once was.

Jake Paul furthered his fight career, a little, Mike received a fat cheque, and the viewers will grumble and debate for a while and it'll all be forgotten about in a few weeks.
