I'm Where I'm At
yea especially if you're a mike Tyson fan. I grew in the mike Tyson era, I remember him in his prime. his failed first marriage and his rape conviction. I was always intrigued by his career. I've always wanted to just see the camera on him and watch him talk because you never knew what the hell he was gonna say. I'd post a video of his greatest (famous and infamous) interviews and quotes but they're not G rated

but for me it's great to see him where he is today.

He CAN punch. He's just lazy and over careful. He only does enough that he feels he needs to do to win.
he certainly does maximize his chances for future paydays and long term health , by not getting hit ...ANYBODY seen what MELDRICK TAYLOR ENDED UP LIKE?...he WAS fun to watch though...

LOL....or professional sparring since that's what his fights are...overhyped public sparring matches...Meldrick Taylor was the man.He was the big time Philly fighter before Hopkins but his management destroyed him.

My point being...the guy is now basicly drooling in his soup... probably wont happen to MAYWEATHER.....but I shall let him know EDDIE from MFK thinks he is a sissy....I Am sure that will change his fighting style

JC CHAVEZ ,,destroyed him.. I am not familiar with his managements decisions .. but I saw the world class beating CHAVEZ handed him(I know the stoppage was 'iffy').. HE was a great fighter but at what cost?

I'm not alone in that thinking. All I know is what he does isn't boxing. The goal had never been to give people enough paper cuts to keep them off you and make it 12 rounds. You should punish your opponent and put them down. Now we have to wonder if he CAN finish. Disgrace to boxing

Lol.. ok the object of boxing as I know it...is to hit the other guy much more and more effectively than the other guy hits you....imo he is as good at that as anybody ever...the only guy that came close imo.... was chicken ray(yes we called him that) LEONARD.....HAGLER and AARON PRYOR WERE HONORABLE MENTION.

I understood your point in mentioning Taylor in the first place and he did take a serious beating from Chavez and his handlers put him in more tough fights after that and he received more vicious beatdowns. He even fought Terrible Terry Norris soon after Chavez..Norris had severely beaten your boy Chicken Leonard and Taylor had no business fighting him.

Cant argue that point...Norris could fight,,gotta remember that chicken Ray was WAY past his prime by then...btw I saw ,in person ..McCALLUM vs McCRORY from about 20 ft away,, pretty good stuff(from the TERRY NORRIS ERA )
