I thought the Cotto fight was on this weekend but I checked and didn't see it in the listings for Saturday....don't tell me it was on PPV?
 
....so it was on HBO PPV.All week long I was under the impression that the fight would be shown on regular HBO.Cotto is nice and all but I didn't see this as a PPV level fight.Cotto won by the way via tenth round KO of Martinez.

anyways I didn't see the fight but saw the highlights.

I had forgotten that Martinez is 39 years old.

good job on cotto.
 
sounds like ,from official accounts of the fight it was a lopsided walkover in favor of COTTO, guess I half to be the first on here to admit that I thought MARTINEZ would win , fairly easily...congrats to COTTO , nice victory:popcorn:

Cotto hurt him bad in the first, and Martinez never recovered. It was a one sided beating until it was stopped. I think Sergio went down on his knee funny, because it looked like he was limping the whole fight. I know that he's had a couple of knee surgeries over the past couple of years. His age is definitely showing.
Cotto looked as sharp as ever and the fight could have been stopped in the first.
