I'm pretty sure that the gar that's the main focus of the picture is an alligator gar. I believe that the Shedd also has some Croc III hybrid gars in there, too.

It's a regular gator gar, I don't think they have Cuban at Shedd, I have been there and seen that tank before...

They may have it elsewhere that we can't see
