Excellent article. Always thought longibarbis and mormaratus where the same. I too was sold a specimen labeled perruno by a reputable seller. It's currently around 16" has 11 dorsal rays. What is more common in the pet trade. Mormaratus or longibarbis?

Longibarbis was recently split from marmoratus. I have never seen one. At least I don't think I saw one. I did note obvious variability in "marmoratus" appearance.

Can anyone access the revision to check the pics in there?
