Can I tell you about my mother
I was gonna come up with something interesting and then I thought why not a name that is everything I am in life.
There is one thing I hate about this world and the people who populate it, and my name is sort of a tounge in cheek play on that.
The one thing I hate is how people are so shallow and surface dwelling, judging by what they see. Very rarely taking the time to dive deeper to find out the reality behind what they see.
Yes I am a chef and my name is james scott, but that is just the surface. Enough of a name to satisfy the surface dwellers.
Now the REAL meaning behind my name is this.
To me life is like a huge kitchen full of ingredients, so many dishes that can be made so many endless possiblities. Yet, saddly so many people take the role of a cook-they open cans, bags etc...... They exist in the land of prepared and manufactured reality where eventually the preservative and flavour enhancers (ie holly wood, sports , music etc....) of the vicarious existence leave them lacking and wanting for one reason. They have chosen existance over living. Where as there are those that the role of the chef-they take the raw ingredients before them and create recipes. They exist in the land of wild eyed wonder, dwelling in the newness of the day. They are the ones who are truly living. Hence the title chef, for it is what I do for a career but, it is also what I am in life.
To me at the end of it all, I full well intend to be a person who has left their mark on this world. A person whom people will be able to look back and say yes that person made an impact. Not only is it my name, but it is a principle that I will not hide behind anything but who I am. This world of fat cats and rich rulers who basically make this world go round or shall we say their false reality. On the field of battle known as today is it not better to be a standard bearer over a statistic.
There is much more I would say but I wax esoteric

I have a book full of poetry and songs I have written and keep a journal of things that come to me on this day or that day.
I really think that in life people are only limited by what the will not step out to do. And, this present world has done a mighty fine job instilling fear into people and turning them into sheeple.
