I've used "vyperboy" for over a decade. I keep boas and pythons also and one of my favorite snakes was a Death Adder "mimic" called a Viper Boa from New Guinea. It was a beautiful snake, but looked nothing like a boa and more like snakes in the Viper family. It even moved like a side-winder. It's mimicry of the Death Adder was pretty close. This species of boa tends to have a pretty grumpy disposition and to be bitten by this snake is a memorable one. Fortunately, I never had to experience a bite from my snake...he was pretty tame, but I remained cautious non-the-less.
A little FYI, the Death Adders of Australia and New Guinea, although resembling snakes from the Viper family are actually Elapids which include the Cobras, Coral Snakes, Black Mamba and Inland Taipan.
