wow! amazing pictures, what kind of camera do you use to take them?
Thanks! I'm using a Nikon D90 with a 17-55mm f/2.8 lens and a speedlight.

Awesome shots! Are you using flash on these? I cant seem to get a handle on using it yet...

Beautiful fish too! Outstanding
Thanks! And yeah, I used one speedlight for these shots, aimed directly into the water from the top. The full tank shot was aquarium lights only though.

Just realized I never posted this small update in this thread!

In my usual fashion, I've gotten bored with the look of the 190g, so I had to change things up a bit. Added a few fake plants, inspired by the ADG aqua scapes. Also switched out the LED fixture for my old T5HO fixture. Currently running one Giesseman Aquaflora bulb. I love LEDs, but I miss the color of a fluorescent bulb. You'll also notice the discus are no more. Lost a few due to an unknown reason, so I said F it, and gave the rest to my buddy.

So on the new look, yay or nay?

I like that alot!!!

You're filtration system was the inspiration for mine, I just need to sort out what fish I'm going to keep in my 90g.

what's your current set up for filter socks? I have one 100 at the moment.

do you run the inlet into the socks submerged to keep noise down?

any other tips or pointers?
