Posting here after quite a while. I recently got a new Flowerhorn that the seller labeled as an SRD. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on its potential and overall quality. Personally, I feel it looks promising, but I’m still a novice compared to the expertise in this community.

I’m really excited to watch its progression and share updates along the way. I’d greatly appreciate any grooming tips or suggestions on how to bring out its best features. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts — thanks in advance!

Looks fantastic! Great food, lots of room, and tons of water changes would be a good starting point.

Thank you so much for your appreciation. I shall try to implement all your suggestions. Can you suggest some good food specifically, the lfs here suggests me to feed him just some good 12% spirulina and probiotic diet and not any other specialized food. Do you think that it should be fine.

Here’s a little update! Pumpkie's (my Flowerhorn’s first addressal) head seemed a bit down initially but is now starting to perk up. Maybe I’m just being impatient with his growth—I can’t wait to see him grow big and develop beautifully!
