Tigrinus vs Tigrinum

Ok, I'm looking to pick up one or the other. What's the difference? When I google them the pics look the same. If you guys own them, could you please post your own personal pics of them and/or explain the difference?

Merodontotus tigrinus and Brachyplatystoma tigrinum are the same fish.

M. tigrinus is just the genus that they used to go under, until they were placed under the brachyplaystoma genus.
 
If you are referring to a Pseudoplatystoma tigrinum (Tiger Shovelnose Catfish), then they are completely different.
 
Brachyplatystoma Tigrinus is the Zebra Shovelnose, smaller eyes, smaller overall size, WAY better looking that common TSN which is Pseudoplatystoma Tigrinum. The latter can get 4-5ft whereas Tigrinus only get 30" tops.
