due to how common they are here especially in hawaii, Tilapia are often over looked and considered "ugly trash fish/ roaches of water" but when i look at them for long periods of time they actualy look pretty attractive. they have a nice yellow/silver tone and even come with TEETH (important trait of my monster obsession). though im unsure of their diet... ehhh im blabling.
my main question, what do you guys think of Tilapia being suitable, even for beginner monster fish keepers?? Imean think about it, they grow to a decent size, they have teeth, they are the most hardy fish i have ever seen as they are the only fish i know living from the cleanest oceans to the alawai canal (most toxic sewage / flesh eating bacteria carrying canal in hawaii). not to mention they inhabit fresh and brackish water, maybe salt water too.
anyone ???
