Sorry to hear that, Miss Jinkx. I did recommend Kashta to post here for you as goldfish is her specialty. Glad to see she has been very helpful for you as she had always been. Unfortunately, there are times when the pets we are very much attached with, may not be with us any longer. Euthanasia has been a very touchy subject and while it sounded cruel, it's the best thing that can happen when something has been suffering for a long time and beyond hopes of recovery.

I know what you mean about that soft spot we get, Miss Jinkx. Those little ones we essentially raise ourselves are the most dear. I get very attached to mine, as well. Our fishy pets are just part of the family. :)

And thank you, Lupin. I only wish there'd been more we could've done for Tito. At least there is comfort knowing he's at peace.

An update just to let you know that this week my husband came home with a big beautiful, 5 inch black moor. I am yet to name him, but he is a lovely reminder of how Tito could have been. He's doing really well in the tank - and is a joy to watch.
