Tire Track Eel Dying, Help!

Thank you for your help. I've lowered the heater by a few degrees and added an extra air pump to boost oxygen. I don't know if this is a good or bad sign, but the tire-track returned to his sea urchin shell. I haven't applied anti-parasitic medication yet, as I was told that they can kill healthy fish.

I honestly don't have any further advice either after what has already been given. All I can ask is if you had an air pump in the tank before the one that you just added. If you did not, then the tank may be oxygen deprived. Otherwise, I can only wish you the best of luck and the same for your eel. Sorry I'm not much help.

Yes, I had an air pump before, but it had relatively less output.
