To dechlorinate.. or not to dechlorinate

honestly except for invertebrates and marine I have never used dechlorinator.
I just leave the water to stand for at least an hour to dissipate the chlorine levels.
Water in our region is sold by nestle in bottles to everyone else so its safe to say its of pretty good quality. we also dont have fluoride in the water supply.
Either way, ive never experienced any issues with fish.

Certainly some people can get away with that due to the low chlorine residual in their tap water, try that where I live and your fish would all be dead within hours.
