I have a question:

Can anyone post a total list of all species of Knifefish, I considering on buying one, i think they are cool!

now thats a lot of fish... let me see if i can find a list... are you looking for salt knifes or freshwater?

theres sw knives?!?!?! Do tell. that might be another temptation to join the dark side:D
That would be difficult. I give an exampe why: "G. carapo" end up in pet shops from time to time. the problem is, there are so many unclassified knives that look simalar and have the same genus the wind up in lfs. This makes several forms and variations of "carapo" avalible, some being worth a couple hundred.

here is a list from beblondie...she did a great job on this, so i cant take the credit

Although those in BeBlondie's list are probably the only ones you have a chance of finding there are actually 139 species currently listed, divided into 5 families.
