Woah! thanks you guys. i also didnt know that there were sw knifefish... i only thought that there were only freshwater. maan the knifefish in general is one of my fav. fish but now i know about all the species i need to researchg that thanks again!!!

The giant featherback knifefish (Chitala lopis) has been listed as large as 60". As for saltwater knifefish, the only ones I know of are also called razor fish, several species of two different families, neither related to freshwater knives.

Yes.

I have one african knife and an elephant nose together and they have never even acknowledged each other. Morymyrids just don't like each other and the only knifefish you are likely to find that doesn't like other electric fishes is the BGK.
