Trimac with tankmates a realistic possibility?

In my experience, once a beaten fish is removed, it will likely never be able to be reintroduced. They tend to remember the aggressor as well as be remembered, and they get beat again. Removing the aggressor allows the beaten fish to recover as well as establish some territory.

That is the bad thing of keeping these fish it is always a miss of what will work-there are those like Terd that make something that seems impossible work-then there are other stories of Trimac or RD killing everything-I say try it and see what happens-have you considered Black Belt?

Black belt would be cool actually, hadn't though of that...my LFS had one that looked like it was a trade-in who'd been beaten silly by something, but cool fish. The other thing I'd like to try is a Vieja argentea if I can find one.
