Average is very similar actually, but aggression varies a lot in flowerhorns. I have seen few kept in community tank with even tiger barbs and other cichlids, some can't live with any, mine killed the pleco.
Not necessarily, I think they have more variations, but yes, average is high. I believe that's because of selective breeding for aggressiveness though.
Had to rescue this fella today, he was in a tiny tank with 3 African cichlids that were absolutely hammering him.
Was being sold as a Mayan but once I got it home and it come back to colour ( it was black in the shop and on its side ) I’ve now realised it’s not a Mayan
