These guys aren't slow growing like the saums. When I recieved my 5 on May 31 they were at most 1". Now all 5 look like little terrors and have grown a lot, I'm really quite suprised by the growth rate. I'd say the largest has put on almost .5" and quite a bit of mass in just about two weeks, though I haven't netted and measured them.

I'll vouch for Tom (not like you need it). I paid to have him hold me some for a couple weeks as I was moving from Hawaii to Washington, he definitely came through. :)

Yes, I noticed this too. They really take off in growth in a way that's NOTHING like the saums. I was bracing for the slow growth too.

It's best shipping-wise to have smaller fish sent to you, but 1-2" is still small enough to make things work.

PMs exchanged. July is likely a good month for this next group of fry. I can hang on to some for those interested. Just let me know and give me either $50 for 4 fry at the .75 to 1" mark OR $75 for 4 fry at the 1" to 2" mark.

We can work out shipping whenever you guys are ready for them (should be $25 to $30).

If anyone needs some sooner, let me know too.

anyhow...

no one interested here?

I am frankly surprised at the lack of interest, but maybe you need to be an 'older' hobbyist to appreciate the species.
SHow me the colors??? Did the White stay?? That is my question.. Very interested.. Would like to see if your f-1's are better than the other f-1's that I have seen in the past... Meaning Did the and are they still holding the color :) It has been proven several times in the past and on other boards... With Wild one that have the white that they turn Orange...

Can you or I should say will you provide a picture of the white in your F1 Fry???

I think I talked to you about this on another board or through email.

The juvies dont have coloration yet. Maybe some of these folks that bought them have beefed them up to the point where they do.

I dont see how they would switch to orange, maybe you are thinking of siver saums? Because this species hasn't been bred and sold 'several times'.
