True hardiness of blue-spots? And other questions

I've had bule dots in the past, and never had any luck. I wouldn't try again.
One of the main issues is they don't eat once they are in captivity. Having other active fish in the tank makes it even that much harder since you have to get food past them to the ray (who probably won't eat anyway).

I have had my Blue dot for about 6 months. He originally would only eat live food. I then got another stingray that ate frozen food and it seems the new stingray showed the old one that eating frozen food was ok. About 2 months ago the newer stingray died and Im not sure why, but the orginal one seems to be thriving and still eats frozen food. I bought another one once the second stingray died, but he never was right from the get go and died 2 days after purchasing it. I decided to just stick with one ( the original one) for now unitll I learn a little more about them. Just thought I'd share.

I'm no expert on stingrays and probably would take KRJ's advice on this one but I found a video on youtube of a bunch of SW rays and it is swiming with a lion fish.
