They're in a grow out with a carpintis and a fat chocolate. I also have a tiretrack and a fire eel in there with giant danios, rainbowfish and a growing army of cories and brochis splendens
(not recommended but I have a special situation)

I usually have to buy Carpintis as "Jack Dempsey's" or Texas. Even when I worked at a pet store I could only find them as mislabeled JD's. I'll get some pics up of Dr. Sparkles later tonight. One of my favorite fish.

I've always respected it's privacy so probably is a Lady Dr. Sparkles fish. About 3 yrs old she's probably stunted she really looked like garbage when it was the size of yours. I actually thought it died. For months it lived with a very aggressive JD. It killed 5 carpintis the first night I thought maybe she got eaten-she did not. She buried herself into the substrate and survived under the gravel. I found her during a complete clean out and I put her in a 90 gallon. A year later she thickened out.
