Musk and Mud Turtles should still be provided with a basking spot and a place to get out to dry off completely. My Red Cheeked Mud uses it on occasion and my male Stinkpot loves to use the basking spot but the female never uses it from what I've seen but who honestly watches their turtles for 24/7?
