Types of Kelberi?

The fish pictured in #1 & #4 are mine. They are pictures of 2 different specimens but both fish are from the same collection point in Brazil. Also, pic #1 was taken in clear water. Pic #4 was taken after adding blackwater extract to the tank. In fact, the fish in the background in pic #1 is the same fish featured in pic #4. The fish in the background in pic #4 is the same fish featured in pic #1.

Too add, pic #2 is of an older, mature specimen supposedly from the same collection area as my 2 fish.

Essentially, all fish in pics #1, 3 & 4 are of the same race of kelberi collected in the same place in Brazil. What does this mean? Kelberi are HIGHLY variable fish exhibiting a wide range of patterning and coloration. Trying to pin down a keberi's collection area based on markings/color is next to impossible. With that said, pay close attention to the anal and caudal fin markings of the fish in these three pics. All are very similar despite the differences in body pattern and coloration.

Here are a few more pics of the exact same fish shown in your post:

As you can see, depending on water conditions, lighting, diet and mood these fish take on numerous looks.
