Red Hooks grow a lot larger than normal S.D."sBlack barred dollars stay the smallest but are a lot cooler than normal S.D."s.

Hey, I just purchased three Silver Dollars, they are the one with the red in their fins, but not Red Hooks, I guess that would make them the regular SD's. Is three okay or should I have more so they will be comfortable. Oh and these guys nipped my Pikes tail alittle, so I think there needs to be more.

Is that what you would recommend for looks for for nipping and for them to feel comfortable? I want them to be as comfortable as possible, they are good looking in the tank and I don't want them dying.

Adding a 4th would help make them feel more secure. Though you will need more than 4 to stop the nipping. Recon 6 might be the magic number, but if that cant be done defiantly try for a 4th to the shoal.
