just because they can tolerate freshwater doesn't mean they can live long term in it

i would highly suggest you acclimate it to brackish

As I just learned, toadfish is a broad term for many species. Some are brackish, some salt and some entirely fresh. I don't which his is but it could be a fresh water species.
