FROGS:
good bone structure- calcium
meaty- excellent source of protein
amphibian- natural food source
NO FUR- easy digestion

drawbacks- WHERE TO GET A GOOD CONSTANT SUPPLY HERE IN AMERICA

EARTHWORMS & NIGHTCLAWERS:
ALMOST PURE PROTEIN
Natural food source
easy digestion

CICHLID FRY:
Natural food source
No where NEAR as fatty as goldfish

anybody know of any other good food sources feel free to add

crickets, super worms, meal worms, pinkies, ghost shrimp, black worms, brine shrimp.

Mosquito Fish make excellent nutricious feeders from what I here. I am not sure how "healthy" they are, but Tadpoles are also readily devoured by predatory fish.

CRAWFISH I forgot:
Very good source of calcium and protein
along with beta-carotene

crickets are pretty much just filler no nutrientional value at all unless there gutloaded, grasshoppers would be better great source of protein and very natural

PINKIES:
your putting mammalian meat in there diet which is not easily digested by some, I substitute that with baby duck or baby quail (easier to get than baby duck), plus more natural prey item than pink mice

crickets alright if you feed them vegges like carrots, tomatoes etc before feeding to fish.
river shrimp
earthworms
mealworms

Bullfrogs and their tadpoles are readily available around here, unfortunately, when you go giggin, its normally the big guys. I have yet to meet anyone with a fish big enough to devour a whole adult bull frog.

I just do earthworms on occasion. Or bloodworms.
