Exactly, I've kept so many fish but haven't been satisfied and likely never will be, I've kept everything from bass, large catfish, arowanas, gars, piranhas, exodon, sun fish, eels, bichirs, lungfish, tanganyikan cichlids, malawi cichlids, victorian cichlids, central and south american cichlids, doviis, red devils, you name it, but I still can't be satisfied.I hate to disappoint but there is no fish that will satisfy your quest to find "the" fish. I have been keeping fish for over fifty years and still can`t be satisfied. The answer is not which fish but how many tanks will it take? Good luck with that.
any cool fish that live in a 20 gallon most of life. if they grow out after a while thats ok as i have other tanks with space.
