Yes this was mine that I bought about 4 years ago and had him for about 2.5 to 3 years and he was bought as a regular juruense. And he grew to be one of the best catfish I have ever owned and will soon get another. As long as you feed them good and also feed them shrimp it helps with color and keep water temp at a good high temp it makes the stripes pop. And yes I do aggree that some stripes are different than others. But as far as buying a regular juruense and flash jurenese. Dont give in and spend the extra money for some bullshit someone tells you cause it isn't true there one in the same. They are a badass fish and my all time favorite
