Upper and lower jaw polypterus

I have a question. Are Hingemouths upper or lower jaw polypterus?
Haven’t heard that terminology yet. I guess both groups could be called that but I’d imagine the lower jaws more so.

Hingemouth are not polypterids or even closely related.
When scientific names shorten the genus name, such as Polypterus ansorgii to P. ansorgii, then the Hingemouth Phractolaemus ansorgii also becomes P. ansorgii. Either this user was confused by this, or is just making a joke about the similar names haha.
